With so many creators launching their own podcasts, it can be difficult for listeners to sift through the hundreds of options that are available to them so that they can find one they really like—and even more difficult for creators to get noticed, which is why the Apple Podcasts Spotlight was launched.
Through its new editorial franchise, Apple’s team searches for rising podcasters that they feel have potential, and give them the opportunity to reach a much greater audience through its platform. The Apple Podcasts Spotlight will showcase a new creator every month so that they can share a number of episodes on a weekly basis, and benefit from the company’s advertising. To ensure it features a diverse range of content, Apple Podcasts Spotlight will spotlight creators from all genres and locations throughout the country, and also include different formats.
